HOW OUR DAY WENT: We expected strength early, but were
cautious about the upside sticking. After the big run-up
burned out, we caught a short when the ES couldn't hold
990.50. The ES went to 987.00 and bounced. The market
acted toppy, and this was posted in the members room
at 3:17pm eastern time:
(Jul 30-15:17) mike: 1622-23 has been a lid on NQ most
of the day, it is a short under that zone. if exceeded,
they keep running up towards 1630ish
(Jul 30-15:30) mike: so far so good on NQ but need to
press under 1617 w/o quick reversal to get momentum
The NQ bounced to 1622.25 just 4 minutes later and then
reversed The NQ dropped 19 points to 1603.25 in the last
35 minutes of stock trading. The ES dropped 10.50 points
from 991.75 to 981.25 by the close.
