HOW OUR DAY WENT:
The ES opened down 16 points on Thursday
and after dropping to 1084.50 in the first 20 minutes the ES
turned back up. Shortly after noon the 3rd intraday update
stated:
"The ES grinded down to 1085.75 and made a little
double bottom there before turning back up. The
lows should be in place as long as the 1088.00-
1087.50 area on the ES is held."
The 1088.00-1087.50 area held and then around 1:45 pm the
market shot higher with the ES rallying to the 1098.50-
1099.00 resistance zone. A dip held at 1095 and then a
rally to 1103.00 resistance at the close.

Today's Trading Recap: 02/24/10
HOW OUR DAY WENT:
We were looking for early strength to be
sold on Wednesday and then the first decent pullback to set
up a buying opportunity. The ES popped up to 1102.00 in the
first 15 minutes, then reversed and dropped 8.25 points to
1093.75 just before 10:30am. The move reversed from there
and shot almost straight up 11+ points to 1105.00 before a
pullback. A pop up to 1105.50 was reversed, and just after
2pm when the ES was at 1104 I sent an instant message stating:
(Feb 24-14:02) mike: i'[m] getting small short up here.
(Feb 24-14:03) mike: nq has a wedge type pattern
(Feb 24-14:05) mike: if 1101 breaks, a push to 97.50-96.50
would be possible
After that I sent out updated support at 1098.50 and updated
resistance at 1102.00-1102.50 and the ES dropped to 1098.50
and bounced to 1101.75... so we covered the rest at 1100.50
(see the log) and called it a day.

Today's Trading Recap: 02/19/10
HOW OUR DAY WENT:
The market opened lower but the ES turned
up from just over the 1098.25-1097.75 zone support zone and
rallied 5.75 points to 1104.50 before going into a tight
range. We were watching both sides until there was a breakout.
When 1104 was broken, that area held on a dip and
the ES ran up to the last resistance up at the 1110.50-1112.00
zone. A short at resistance (the high was at 1111.00), the ES
pulled back 4.50 points to the 1107-1106 key support. The
1106.50 level was the pullback low, and a bounce to 1108.75
followed. The failure to clear the 1109.50 updated resistance
sent them 4.50 points lower to 1105.00 with 45 minutes left
in the trading day. They ran right up to 1109.50 and then
dropped right back down to 1105.25 before the close. A good
day for the support/resistance zones, a-gain.

Today's Trading Recap: 02/12/10
HOW OUR DAY WENT:
We were looking for early weakness to set
up a buying opportunity, and the ES opened 11.50 points lower
and dropped to the 1061.50-1060.50 zone before reversing 15
minutes into the day. From a 1060.00 low, the ES turned up
and rallied to 1067.25, then pulled back to updated support
at 1062.25. A reversal there started a 12+ point rally to
1075.00. A drop held right over the updated 1065 level then
rallied 11 points to 1076.00. After that failed, new support
at 1068.00 was tested and reversed and that started a rally
back to 1079.50 - another 11.50 points. In a nut-shell, the
early low and then all 3 of the big swings to the upside
starting around noon started from a support zone, then failed
just below the 1077.00-1078.00 key resistance except for the
last one. On the long side alone, that was 41.50 points of
*potential* and getting just 5 of them covers a 3 month
membership.

Today's Trading Recap: 02/10/10
HOW OUR DAY WENT:
The lower open was a buy and the ES popped
up 5.75 points to 1069.75 and quickly reversed. So, the early
game-plan worked nicely as the ES dropped to 1056.25 in trend
down fashion. The trend reversed an hour into the day, and a
rally was pretty good, but it was stopped after a direct hit
of the 1071.50-1072.50 resistance zone. After a 6 point drop
to 1065.25, we were re-entering a short on a bounce towards
1069 and the ES rejected 1068.50 twice before dropping 5
points drop to 1063.50. A bounce back to the 1066.00-1066.50
followed, and it set up one last short as the ES dropped from
1066.25 to 1063.00 just before settlement.

TradeStalker's RBI Update 01/31/10

TradeStalker's
R.B.I. Trader's Update
1 / 31 / 2010
(Published Since 1996)
...............................................
Dateline: 5:46 pm eastern time, 1/31/2010
The ES rallied to the 1092.50-1093.00 resistance zone in the
first 30 minutes on Friday, and looking to short early
strength, that made a great reward/ risk entry. The move
stalled out and reversed and dropped 15+ points to 1077.75
by noon (we had updated support at 1078-1077). There was a
bounce off of that level, but it stopped right at the
1084.50-1085.00 updated resistance and fell 6.75 points to
1077.25 support and bounced... right to the 1081.50
resistance. So much for a double bottom, that support broke
on the 3rd try and a 14 point drop to 1067.50 followed. That
1068.00-1067.00 zone was at the last target/support for
Friday, and a decent bounce of 7.75 points on the ES
followed. However, that move was sold and the ES dropped
8.75 points to 1066.50, as only the closing bell could stop
the bleeding on Friday.
From the highs made on January 19th, the Dow lost 686
points, the ES lost 80.50 points, and the NQ lost 164
points. That is quite a move over just 8 trading days. The
volatility has been great, as there was at least 32 swings
of 4.00 or more points on the ES last week. The average
daily range for the ES over the last 8 days is 19.81 points.
This environment is emotionally charged up, so the
volatility should continue. The daily indicators went back
to extreme oversold condition, but lately that hasn't
mattered. A closing Trin around 3.00 is what's missing from
having a capitulation bottom.
Pretty soon the market should attempt to rally back, but it
likely will not hold. If the market can get over the initial
resistance areas and not quickly reverse, then the downside
momentum should be lessening and then the 1084.00-1084.50
area on the ES would be a key resistance. If the market can
get over that area and not fizzle, then a move back towards
the 1097-1098 area could be possible over a day or so.
However, if the initial resistance areas are not cleared and
held on a pullback, then the downside should continue as
bounces are still being sold. If the downside continues,
then the 1062.25-1060.50 zone could be in the cards. If the
market drops further, and cannot hold that area, then the
downside could gather momentum and head towards the 1043
area on the SP500 cash on this leg down.

Today's Trading Recap: 01/07/10
HOW OUR DAY WENT:
The early weakness took the ES to the
1128 support and it quickly reversed setting up a trade for
a bounce. The ES ran up to the 1135.00 resistance and then
pulled back. Then the ES broke 1131 and held that on a dip,
keeping upside intact. After running to 1138.50, the ES
dropped right to the 1134.50 updated support where buying
came in and gave us a run back to test the high.

Today's Trading Recap: 10/26/09
HOW OUR DAY WENT:
The ES broke 1078.50 shortly after
the open, then held it on a pullback, and a rally to
the 1086.75-1087.50 zone followed. The ES reached 1088.50
then dropped, and then the bounce to 1087.50 reversed.
That set up a 123 top, and when the 1083 level broke
the market went into free-fall. The ES fell to 1061.25
with 30 minutes left, a 20+ point move before that late
bounce.

HOW OUR DAY WENT:
The ES reversed the 1060.50-1060.00
support in the first 10 minutes, keeping the rally in
gear. Then we had a short at the initial resistance
zones. After pulling back, the group was told "A push
to 1067-1068 could be a fake-out IF reached and start
a selloff". After reversing down from 1067.75, there
was a reversal but it held the 1065 breakout area and
went to a new high at the close. Next week should be
a VOLATILE week, join us and know where to expect the
reactions to occur.

Today's Trading Recap: 09/23/09
HOW OUR DAY WENT:
We had a pop up to our 1068.75-1069.25
resistance that was rejected 3 times before a drop to the
1065.50-1065.00 support zone. An instant message was sent
telling members to cover shorts at 1065.50 or better, and
it was just 2 ticks from the early low at 1065.00. The
bounce to 1068.00 reversed, setting up a re-entry and the
ES dropped 5.75 points to 1062.25 - just 2 ticks over
the 1061.75-1061.25 support - then a rally began. The
1065-1066 updated resistance gave us another short when
the ES bounced to 1065.00 and dropped 2 points to 1063.00.
Members were told "beware of a potential double bottom"
which occurred and started a 5.75 point rally to the
1068.75 resistance by 12:30 pm. Then after he FED release
the ES ran up to 1075.75 and dropped hard. After that
occurred, an instant message was sent to members saying:
(Sep 23-15:01) mike: 72-73 resist, they topped if tht
zone not cleared
The bounce fizzled at 1072.25 and reversed, and it was
the start a trend down move of 17 points to 1055.25 at
4 pm. So, for our group it was a very good day. The

Today's Trading Recap: 09/16/09
HOW OUR DAY WENT:
We came into Wednesday expecting some
pullback, and the higher open was reversed and a drop of
5.50 points followed. Then after turning up, we adapted
and felt the market was ok as long as 1053.50 was held.
It was, and a few more opportunities also were set up
per updated support and resistance.

HOW OUR DAY WENT:
We came into Tuesday looking to short
early strength when the upside fizzled, and the ES reached
1047.50 just 16 minutes into the day and then dropped to
the 1038.50-1038.00 zone before the first hour was over.
From the 1038.25 low, the ES rallied to the 1049.50-1050.25
zone. A 1-2-3 top was made off the 1050.00-1049.50 levels,
and the ES dropped to 1046.25 before turning back up. That
was just over the 1045.50 updated support, and then one
last sprint higher followed. The move stopped right at
the 1052.00-1052.50 updated resistance, then reversed and
sold off into the close. No fancy indicators, but knowledge
from a 27 year veteran of the market used to give the key

TradeStalker's RBI Update 09/09/09
.................................................
TradeStalker's
R.B.I. Trader's Update
9 / 9 / 2009
(Published Since 1996)
...............................................
Dateline: 6:44 pm eastern time, 9/9/2009
The ES popped up to 1027.25 on the open on Tuesday (which we
were looking to short) then it quickly dropped 4 points to
1023.25 before reversing. The initial support was at
1023.00-1022.50, so the reversal came from a logical spot
and set up a trade on the long side. After having trouble at
1030 on the first try to get a rally going, the ES pushed
through on the next attempt and rallied to the updated
resistance at the 1035.50-1036.50 zone. The ES reached
1036.25 and quickly backed off, and the break of 1032.50
opened the door for the ES to continue its drop. After
falling 9.25 points to 1027.00 on the ES, the market turned
around and bounced back into the close.
NOTE: We roll over to December futures on
Thursday. The new symbol is now ES Z9 for the
emini SP futures. It might take a day or two
before the numbers are more precise.
The indicators are still overbought and with the SP500 cash
closing at a recovery high there are divergences that are
normally bearish. Also, there were more than 2100 advancing
issues on the NYSE for 4 straight days and that is not
normal. It tends to lead to a pullback for a day at least.
In addition, the move looks to be losing some upside
momentum.
On Thursday look for early strength to set up a shorting
opportunity. If that plays out, then the first decent
pullback will need to hold around the 1019.75-1019.00 area
on the ES December futures to avoid trouble. If the market
gets down there and cannot get turned around, then a trip
back towards the 990's is possible on this leg down. If the
market has enough gas in its tank to take out the 1031.25-
1031.75 area on the December ES, and can hold that area on a
pullback, then the upside could get in a break-out mode and
try to get to the 1039.75-1040.25 area if the SP500 is not
going to make a double top up here.

Today's Trading Recap: 08/31/09
HOW OUR DAY WENT:
The market opened under the key support
and it brought on what members were told to expect last night:
"If there is a sharp drop from under the 1030 level, then
the 1014.75-1014.00 area could be broken by a bit before
the move either reverses or accelerates."
The ES fell to 1013.25, and then reversed. Members were
sent this IM after the bounce started:
(Aug 31-10:35) mike: a pop to 1019.50 is resist / short
if it in the next 10 minutes
The ES popped to 1019.50 a few minutes later, then
dropped 4.00 points to 1015.50. The Instant Messages are
a nice addition for Real Time members, at no extra cost!!!

HOW OUR DAY WENT: The ES reversed from 1008.00-1008.50
resistance on the open, and dropped 10 points to 998.00.
The rally reversed at 1012.00, right at 1011.75-1012.50
resistance zone. The drop broke the 1006.50 support and
then I sent an Instant Message telling members:
Aug 13-14:11) mike: stay with shorts to 1003.50, or lower.
The ES reversed from 1002.50, then bounced to 1007.75
before stalling out. Just 1 tick under resistance, the
ES dropped to 1005.00 and members were told that the ES
had support at 1004.50 then turned back up. Then the 1008
level was exceeded, and held on a pullback setting up a
long for the rally into the close. So, we caught some of
both sides in a back-and-forth day.

Today's Trading Recap: 08/03/09
HOW OUR DAY WENT: The gap up open was a short when 994
was broken through. The pullback was over just 25 minutes
of trading. After making a high at 999.25, the ES dipped
then the bounce reversed at a lower high, giving us a
short setup and the ES dropped to 992.25. That held the
updated support and the rally was back in gear. We were
looking for a reversal from the 999.50-1000.50 zone and
the ES reversed from 1001.00. An update after that told
members to short a move that went over then back down
thru 1000.00 and we got that, giving 3+ points as a drop
to 996.00 occurred before turning back up at the close.

HOW OUR DAY WENT: We expected strength early, but were
cautious about the upside sticking. After the big run-up
burned out, we caught a short when the ES couldn't hold
990.50. The ES went to 987.00 and bounced. The market

of the day, it is a short under that zone. if exceeded,
they keep running up towards 1630ish
(Jul 30-15:30) mike: so far so good on NQ but need to
press under 1617 w/o quick reversal to get momentum
The NQ bounced to 1622.25 just 4 minutes later and then
reversed The NQ dropped 19 points to 1603.25 in the last

990.50. The ES went to 987.00 and bounced. The market
acted toppy, and this was posted in the members room
at 3:17pm eastern time:
(Jul 30-15:17) mike: 1622-23 has been a lid on NQ most
of the day, it is a short under that zone. if exceeded,
they keep running up towards 1630ish
(Jul 30-15:30) mike: so far so good on NQ but need to
press under 1617 w/o quick reversal to get momentum
The NQ bounced to 1622.25 just 4 minutes later and then
reversed The NQ dropped 19 points to 1603.25 in the last
35 minutes of stock trading. The ES dropped 10.50 points
