HOW OUR DAY WENT:
We came in to the day looking to get
short if we had early strength, and especially if the 1207.50-
1208.50 zone on ES and 2037.75-2038.25 on NQ were reached. The
ES bounced to 1207.50 and the NQ reached 2037.75 -- direct hits
on key resistance -- and the market reversed 30 minutes in to
trading. The intraday updates and instant messages gave more
guidance as we tackled a volatile day very well.

Today's Trading Recap: 04/20/10
HOW OUR DAY WENT:
The gap up open was sold, then the first
pullback held just over the Monday high of 1196.50. After
tagging 1197.00 3 times, the market turned back up. The rally
stopped after a poke over 1204.50 resistance was rejected,
but the 1202 level was quickly reversed and a move up made a
double top at resistance. That gave a small pullback to
1202.00 support, and the futures closed at their highs while
stocks dropped into the close.

Today's Trading Recap: 03/01/10
HOW OUR DAY WENT:
The market opened higher on Monday and
popped up to the 1110.50-1111.00 resistance zone. It was
a short and from 1111.00 the ES quickly dropped to 1107.25.
A rally to the 1114.50-1115.00 resistance stalled out shortly
after noon, and then the ES dropped to new support at the
1111.50-1111.00 area. That was a buy and a bounce took out
the 1115 resistance and quickly reversed. That "prairie dog"
set up a pullback to 1112.00 with 45 minutes left in stock
trading. That was new support and the market firmed to close
right in the 1114.50-1115.00 resistance zone.

Today's Trading Recap: 02/22/10
HOW OUR DAY WENT:
The ES popped up to 1111.00 (key resistance
was 1111.00-1112.00) in the first 5 minutes and that was sold
and a 7.50 point drop to the 1103.50 updated support occurred
in the first 30 minutes on Monday. Then after a stair-step
move up to 1110.25 fizzled out, with the ES at 1109.50, I
sent an instant message to the group stating:
(Feb 22-15:29) mike: wedge like pattern forming, the NQ is
toppy, i'm small short that up here for a decent drop.
Not long after that the ES rolled over and dropped to 1104.75
just before stocks closed. The overbought extremes held the
market down today. A great trading opportunity should set up
in the morning.

Today's Trading Recap: 02/11/10
HOW OUR DAY WENT:
We were looking for early weakness to set
up a buying opportunity, and the ES dropped to 1057.50 and
reversed about 18 minutes into trading. The first bounce
reversed from just over initial resistance, then pulled back
to 1061.75 updated support area. After the bounce took out
the 1071.50-1072.50 former resistance, it turned into support
to buy for the run-up to the 1077-1078 area. The high for the
day was at 1078.00 and that zone offered 2 good shorting
opportunities.

HOW OUR DAY WENT:
The ES opened down 11.50 points, and went
trend-down to 1070.25. I then gave new resistance at the
1073.50-1074.00 area, and the bounce reversed from 1073.75,
giving as good of a low risk entry as was possible. Then
after dropping to 1063.75, members were given the 1069.50-
1070.25 resistance, and a double top at 1069.50 set up yet
another good reward/ risk opportunity as the ES dropped to
and then through the 1062 target.

Today's Trading Recap: 02/02/10
HOW OUR DAY WENT:
The early game-plan was to short early
strength, then beware of a reversal from the 1084.50-1084.00
key support area. The ES popped up to the 1088.50-1089.00
Resistance zone and reversed, dropping 4.25 points from
1089.00 to 1084.75 Support in 5 minutes and then turned back
up. The bounce stalled and reversed from 1088.50 and then
dropped 4.25 points again to the 1084.25 Support and turned
back up. That was a very good start. Then, with 2 reversals
from the pivotal 1084.50-1084.00 Support in place, the ES
rallied 13 points to the 1097-1098 Resistance zone shortly
after noon. Two small pullbacks from 1097.00 followed, but
the 1094.50 updated support held, setting up a bounce to
1099.50 just before 2pm. Things worked out very well for
our group today.

Today's Trading Recap: 01/28/10
HOW OUR DAY WENT:
Yet *another* day where the market obeyed
support/ resistance. The ES opened higher then reversed from
1 tick over the 1096.75-1097.50 resistance, and it drop to
the 1085.25-1084.50 support zone and bounced. The updated
resistance at 1090 was rejected and the move was trend down
to 1074.25 before lunch-time trading. The break / hold over
1081 kept the new uptrend intact to 1085.25. Old support
turned resistance, and the reversal set up a drop to 1078.50.
The rally from there took the ES to the 1088.50-1089.50
updated resistance, reversing fast from 1088.75, setting
up a drop to 1078.75 in the final minutes of trading.

WOW! The ES opened lower then bounced to

low risk entry on the short side and the ES dropped 10 points
to 1101.00 in the first hour. A bounce then went back the
1111.50 level, right at resistance again, where members were
told to re-short. That lead to another 10 point drop to
1101.25. We then got a bounce to updated resistance at the
1104.00-1104.50, and after 1104.25 was reversed the ES
dropped another 12+ points to 1091.50. The I gave 1092.50-
1093.25 for new resistance, 1093.25 was traded and then
rolled over 7.00 points to 1086.25 to finish off a memorable
week, and a very good one for our group.

The ES fell from the MLK Day high at 1137.00 and opened at

HOW OUR DAY WENT:
Last night our trading group was told:
"...look for a shorting opportunity on a bounce to test
the Monday highs, or if the market makes token higher
highs, and the move stalls out."
We got that on the open when the ES gapped up and then
reversed from 1 tick over the Monday high 1126.25. Then,
after a 2.75 point pullback, a bounce set up a 123 top and
the ES dropped 4.50 points to the 1123-1122.00 updated
support. That set up a scalp trade on the long side back to
the 1124 resistance. The last hour drop held the 1120.00-
1119.50 support in what was a choppy session.

reversed from 1 tick over the Monday high 1126.25. Then,
after a 2.75 point pullback, a bounce set up a 123 top and
the ES dropped 4.50 points to the 1123-1122.00 updated
support. That set up a scalp trade on the long side back to
the 1124 resistance. The last hour drop held the 1120.00-
1119.50 support in what was a choppy session.

Today's Trading Recap: 12/09/09
HOW OUR DAY WENT:
The early game-plan worked perfectly to
start Wednesday. Last night members were told:
"On Wednesday look for a shorting opportunity if there is
early strength and the move reverses from near the initial
resistance areas."
The ES popped to the 1092.50-1093.00 initial resistance
and reversed about 3 minutes in to the trading day. From
1092.75, the ES fell 7.75 points to 1085.00 in the first
20 minutes. That was a good start for the day, and after
locking in profits we had a couple more good shorting
opportunities before the afternoon breakout over 1090.50-
1091.50 zone. That move reached the 1097.00-1097.50 next
resistance and backed off before the close.

Today's Trading Recap: 12/01/09
HOW OUR DAY WENT:
Not expecting a big up day, we still
had good trades set up. The ES reversed from the 1108.50-
1019.00 resistance in the first 30 minutes and then it
fell to the updated 1103.25-1102.50 support zone. From
there the ES rallied to the 1111-1113 sell zone, and the
ES made a double top at 1111.75 to set up a trade on the
short side. The ES dropped 5.25 points while the weaker
NQ gave back 11.75 points by the close.

TradeStalker's RBI Update 11/17/09
.................................................
TradeStalker's
R.B.I. Trader's Update
11 / 17 / 2009
(Published Since 1996)
...............................................
Dateline: 5:54 pm eastern time, 11/17/2009
The initial support area at 1103.50-1102.50 on the ES gave
us 2 quick trades on the long side this morning. There was a
bounce from 1102.50 to 1107.50, and then a bounce from
1103.00 to 1106.75 occurred before the ES washed out to
1100.25. Then the ES bounced and reversed from 1104.00
updated resistance then dropped to the 1100.00 early low.
After the market rallied back members were told to watch
1108.00-1108.50 for a turn, and the ES reversed from 1108.25
and dropped to 1104.00 before firming. Buying came in with
an hour left in the day and the market rallied to token
higher highs and then fizzled into the close.
The ES had just a 6.50 point range on Tuesday. The ES and NQ
both had inside days, staying within the Monday ranges. A
narrow range day, or better yet a series of narrow range
days at a high tends to lead to reversals. In addition, some
of the short term internal gauges are getting overbought.
The Nasdaq looks to be a bit more vulnerable than the ES at
the moment, and it will lead if the market heads lower.
On Wednesday we get the CPI and Housing Starts before the
open. The market will be a short if there is early strength
that reverses from near the Tuesday highs. If that plays
out, the first decent pullback must hold the 1103.00-1102.50
area on the ES. That was broken, and then quickly reversed,
on Tuesday and the ES would need to do the same on Wednesday
to avoid trouble. If that zone is not held on a drop, then
we could see the 1097.75-1096.75 area tested before a
reversal attempt occurs.

Today's Trading Recap: 10/23/09
HOW OUR DAY WENT:
We planned to short early strength that
reversed from around the 1091.75-1092.25 zone and the ES
popped up to 1092.75 and headed down immediately. A 17
point drop to 1075.75 followed. The group was told that
1082.50-1083.00 shouldn't be exceeded, and the ES reversed
back down from 1082.50 and gave us a 9.50 point drop to
1073.00 before bouncing a bit. They dropped back to
1072.50 (1072.75-1072.00 was a good fixed support zone)
and bounced to 1078.00 updated resistance. The ES poked
over 1078 by 1 tick, then reversed and dropped 4.75 points
to 1073.50. The next bounce reversed at 1077.50 and then
the ES dropped 6 points to 1071.50 before bouncing. Though
impossible to get (or even consider getting) top and
bottom tick on each swing, that totaled 37 points of
travel range (opportunity) from our shorting areas, so
Mr. Volatility is back for sure!

Today's Trading Recap: 09/02/09
HOW OUR DAY WENT:
We came into Wednesday wanting to buy
early weakness to start. The ES opened lower and went
to 992.00 (the first support under Tuesday's low was at
the 991.75-991.00 area) and reversed and rallied 6.50
points to 998.50 before reversing. The ES then fell to
the 991.00 support and quickly turned. That set up a
rally to 999.50 and the market backed off. Then new
resistance and support areas were given, and the new
998.50-999.50 sell zone was reached and rejected 4 times
while the new support at 995.00-994.50 area held 3 times
going into the last 10 minutes of trading, as the ES went
to 992.75 before the close.
